Dutch Premiere

(Wednesday, July 1st 2009)

Traditionally the Rutger Hauer Filmfactory is concluded with a red carpet premiere of all the shorts made during this edition. The event attracts a big and varied audience of collaborators, filmmakers and other film professionals. Also present was Roland Plasterk, Minister of Education, Culture and Science. Rutger and Minister Plasterk know each other previously; in 2008 it was Plasterk who presented the Golden Kalf, Holland's most prestigious film prize, to Rutger. On that occasion the duo re-enacted the famous biking scene from Paul Verhoeven's Turkish Delight.
